BAN Toxics is a respected advocate for sound chemicals management and environmental justice.

We are an independent non-government environmental organization that works for the advancement of environmental justice, health and sustainable development in the area of chemicals and wastes, with a special focus on women, children and other marginalized sectors.

We work closely with government agencies, communities and civil society at local, national and international levels to reduce and eliminate the use of toxic chemicals and support global sustainable development goals through education campaigns, community grassroots interventions, training and capacity-building, policy research and development, and advocacy programs.

We envision a toxics-free world where people uphold environmental justice and human rights towards sustainable development and optimal health.

We promote sound chemicals management through research and policy advocacy and by empowering communities to engage in sustainable and equitable practices and methodologies.

BAN Toxics works at local, national and international levels. Our head office is located in Quezon City, Philippines. At present we have field offices in Camarines Norte Province and Davao City. Outside of the Philippines, we have projects in Cambodia, Mongolia and Indonesia.
