January 1, 2026 | Environmental Watchdog BAN Toxics photo documented some post-revelry trash in street corners and sidewalks, a classic example of pile up of garbage right after the new year celebration.

Trashes such as firecracker and fireworks discard, food and fruits leftovers, Styrofoam packaging, plastic wrappers, plastic utensils, single-use plastic bags, and other household and market discards.

“This is the time we have to commit to minimize waste as we welcome the new year 2026, we must adopt a Zero Waste lifestyle at home and in communities, and fully implement the ecological waste management laws to reduce toxic waste and pollution problem in the country,” said BAN Toxics.
