Reynaldo San Juan Jr.

Prior to joining BAN Toxics in 2018, Rey served as the Director of the Diocesan Commission on Liturgy  and as a Rector from the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy. He was also a member of the Diocesan Ecological and Environmental Program (DEEP) and the Youth Franciscan, an organization advocating for environment protection and animal welfare. 

Rey studied AB Philosophy during his undergraduate years. He also pursued post-graduate studies in Theology and MA in Candidate Liturgy. 

He goes on long drives to relieve stress and unclog his mind. He enjoys watching Netflix, writing gospel reflections and cooking for his family and friends during his free time.

 


 

Jam Lorenzo | Deputy Executive Director and Policy Development and Research Head | jlorenzo@bantoxics.org

Jam has been with BAN Toxics since 2016. He studied BS Community Development in the University of the Philippines – Diliman and is currently taking his Master studies in Urban and Regional Planning (Major in Environmental Planning). He’s also a classic Tetris fan.

 



Arleen Sarabia-Honrade

Arleen has been with BAN Toxics since 2015. She has 13 years of experience in the development sector and has worked for Kapwa Upliftment Foundation Inc. (KAPWA) from 1992 to 2005. She also pursued the academe track from 2007 to 2013. She studied AB Political Science in Central Philippine University in Iloilo City and pursued Masters in Public Administration in University of Mindanao in Davao City. She also has certifications on Events Planning and Management, Bread and Pastry Production and Project Planning Development and Management. 

She likes reading, traveling and watching shows on Netflix to de-stress. She also does gardening on her free time and enjoys recreating recipes from Youtube which she tweaks to fit her family’s tastes.

 



Thony Dizon

Thony joined BAN Toxics on 2022. He has been working on environmental issues for 15 years focused on campaigning for chemical safety and waste management. He took up BS Sociology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Manila. He spends his time conducting market monitoring and online researching. As an advocate for consumer welfare and protection, he partnered with various schools and communities to raise awareness on the toxics and hazards in consumer products and promote informed choice and consumer rights.

 



Julius Velicaria

Jules has been with BAN Toxics since 2019 and was previously assigned in Camarines Norte as an assistant to the Mining Officer. He graduated BS Computer Science from Access Computer College. He loves cats, cooking, traveling, and surfing the internet.

 



Jeramae Namo

Mae has been a loyal BAN Toxics staff since 2010. She took up BS Business Administration, Major in Financial Management Accounting. She likes watching  horror and comedy films, and Youtube videos on plant care. She collects plants for a living and has a keen eye for rare plants. She has five dogs: Spike, Sunshine, Buddy, Britney and Rain—all of which she adores very much. Mae also sews garments and bedsheets from time to time.



Jenelyn Romeo

Jen has been a member of BAN Toxics since 2012. She studied Computer Science in System and Technology Institute (STI). She takes care of her children when she’s at home and spends her free time helping her firstborn daughter with her modules. She prefers watching horror and action movies and also enjoys traveling. 


 
Marnie Ravina | Bookkeeper | marnie@bantoxics.org

Prior to joining BAN Toxics in 2014, Marnie has been an active member of the development sector since 2005. Her previous NGO work experiences focused on advocacy training on gender, reproductive health, and the delivery of quality clinic services in several disadvantaged communities within and on the outskirts of Metro Manila. She graduated BS Accountancy in 2000. 

Marnie enjoys baking and watching television. She loves to plant fruit-bearing trees and enjoys buying brand clothes and shoes from ukay-ukay stores. 



Nora Aler | Administrative Assistant |nora@bantoxics.org

Nora started working for BAN Toxics in 2014. She has a vocational course in reflexology. She enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling and watching movies. Nora also does public service to give back to her community from time to time.
