BAN Toxics is currently hiring staff for its program focused on the formalization of the Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) sector, with the goal of reducing and eliminating mercury use.
We are one of the first NGOs to work closely with poverty-driven ASGM communities to help transform and uplift the sector. The ASGM sector makes a significant contribution to the country’s gross national gold reserves, and supporting it helps build a more self-reliant national economy.
